Changing Compensation Dynamics and 2014 Recap

March 2015

Johnson Associates presented at the Wall Street Compensation & Benefits Association.  Since the financial crisis, industry sectors have not moved in lockstep.  Tailwind for asset management and alternatives incentive compensation due to economics of scale and untapped markets.  At the same time, incentives face a headwind for banks from business fundamentals and regulation.  US major banks’ incentives generally flat, with European banks down moderately.  Viable equity increasingly important as compensation element for improved alignment and motivation.  Programs often overly broad and unfocused.

Johnson Associates holds several events throughout the year related to financial services compensation and regulatory and governance trends.

Attendance is by invitation only.  Please fill out the following form if you would like to attend a future event or would like more information.
