2014 Compensation: Moving Beyond Banks in Financial Services Pay

December 2014

A lookback at 2014 financial services incentive compensation landscape, including insight into investment banking pay.  2005-2008 was an unprecedented compensation bubble, followed by both an economic and political disaster.  2014 continues to lag long-term trend on compensation and financial performance, with exits from the industry (i.e., strategies, businesses, and individuals).  Major Banks no longer compensation leaders, with market driven by asset management and alternatives.  Incentives for banks generally flat in 2014, with exception of investment banking Advisory and Underwriting, both of which may be up 15%.

Johnson Associates holds several events throughout the year related to financial services compensation and regulatory and governance trends.

Attendance is by invitation only.  Please fill out the following form if you would like to attend a future event or would like more information.
